Audi respond to rumours of them leaving sports car racing

Lawrence Tomlinson closes in on VdeV PFV class title.
Ginetta boss Lawrence Tomlinson took a big step towards the V de V PFV Class title at Magny Cours last weekend (8/9 October 2016) after securing his fourth race win of the season. In the first practice session of the weekend, it was CWS Racing who set the bar with Colin White and Will Burns at the helm. IMSA Petit Le Mans 2016 Roundup
After a good clean start to the 19th running of the Petit Le Mans from Road Atlanta GA the first 30 minutes saw Oliver Pla leading the field from pole in the #60 Michael Shank Racing. Robert Alon led the PC’s in the #52 PR1 racing, with GTLM being led by Richard Westbrook in the #67 Ford GT40 and Jerome Bleekamolen heading up the GTDs in the #33 Viper. An action packed hour and a half of qualifying is over and what can only be described as close in GTLM - but more of that later. Petit Le Mans - P4 roundup
With practice 4 at Petit Le Mans out of the way, interest now turns to qualifying later on today at 15:25 ET or 20:25 UK time.
