2026 24 HOURS OF LE MANS RACE REPORT — HOUR 6
The No.38 Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA leads the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans after six hours, with Sebastien Bourdais heading the No.20 BMW by 30.3 seconds as night falls over Circuit de la Sarthe. The pole-sitting No.15 BMW has been effectively eliminated after a late tyre failure, while Ferrari's triple challenge has been blunted by penalties and incidents.


WEC confirms nine-round 2027 calendar as Silverstone returns
The FIA World Endurance Championship expands to nine rounds in 2027, with Silverstone back on the schedule for the first time since 2019. The Hypercar, LMGT3 and full WEC field will tackle Qatar, Imola, Silverstone, Spa, the 95th 24 Hours of Le Mans, Sao Paulo, Austin, Fuji and Bahrain.

Le Mans: Racing Team Turkey Stripped of LMGT3 Qualifying Result as Team Qatar Profit
The fastest LMGT3 car of the opening night will start from the back. Racing Team Turkey by TF have been disqualified from Le Mans qualifying over a rear diffuser infringement, handing Proton Competition the class's quickest time and promoting Team Qatar by Iron Lynx into the final Hyperpole place.
