Oliver Turvey completes the CEFC TRSM line up for the FIA WEC
Ginetta G60-LT-P1 customers, CEFC TRSM, have completed their driver line-up for the 2018/19 FIA WEC Super Season with the announcement of Oliver Turvey. Could it be? Jenson Button to race at Le Mans 24 in 2018
If the news coming from Auto Hebdo in France is to be believed then this could be true. The French news agency were reporting that Button is in talks with the SMP Racing Team to drive their BR1 LMP1 prototype at this years race. Porsche provides safety cars and support cars until 2020
From now until 2020, the Porsche 911 Turbo will be the safety car for the Sports Car World Endurance Championship (WEC). The all-wheel-drive 911 produces 540 hp (397 kW) and sprints from zero to 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds. Technologically, the safety car corresponds largely to the production vehicle.
