Oulton Park winner Optimum's Flick Haigh was chasing Minshaw, but lost out to the sister Barwell Motorsport of Sam De Hann. The season has begun with wins for Optimum Motorsport in GT3 and Track-Club in GT4 for the first race of the season. Indeed history was made as Flick Haigh became the first woman to claim a British GT race victory outright, this is on top of her pole yesterday. British GT - The season starts here...
A full capacity grid of 36 cars will be in action for this year's British GT Championship. Source: British GT The championship, which is now in its 26th year, launched officialy this year at Donington Park this weeks Media Day. The entry list has had to be capped to 36 cars because of pitlane restrictions at certain circuits. However tracks like Silverstone and the annual trip to Spa-Francorchamps have greater capacity so more cars are likely to join for these events. Withi

New British GT Championship team ERC Sport today confirmed that they will be running a Mercerdes AMG GT3 with Lee Mowle and Dutchman Yelmer Buurman at the helm. Century Motorsport is switching from Ginettas to the brand new BMW M4 GT4 for 2018. After running Ginettas since 2009, Century Motorsport will now be running a pair of the brand new BMW M4 GT4's with Ben Tuck and Ben Green behind the wheel. 34 cars are ready for Hankook 24H SILVERSTONE

24H TCE SERIES powered by Hankook gets underway with Hankook 24H SILVERSTONE and Hankook 12H MAGNY-C
The UK and France are the hosting countries for the first two rounds of the 2017 24H TOURING CAR ENDURANCE SERIES (TCE SERIES) powered by Hankook. Like for the inaugural season last year, action starts with the Hankook 24H SILVERSTONE (31 March-2 April), followed by the first running of the Hankook 12H MAGNY-COURS (21-22 April). Participation in the 24H TCE SERIES powered by Hankook is open for SP3-GT4 machinery and touring cars from the TCR, A3, A2, D2, D1 and CUP1 classes.


United Autosports confirm their entry to the Le Mans Cup 2017
United Autosports have confirmed their entry into the 2017 Michelin Le Mans Cup. The 2016 European Le Mans Series LMP3 Champions will run the Gulf Marine-liveried Ligier JS P3 in the ELMS support series for Shaun Lynn and Richard Meins. The racing duo most recently raced with United Autosports in the Gulf 12 Hours in Abu Dhabi, scoring a second place finish. Herberth Motorsport Porsche wins Hankook 24H DUBAI
With its Porsche 991 GT3 R, German team Herberth Motorsport has won the Hankook 24H DUBAI. In the twelfth running of the event, drivers Daniel Allemann, Ralf Bohn, Robert Renauer, Alfred Renauer and Brendon Hartley racked up a total of 578 laps of the 5.399 kilometres long Dubai Autodrome. “It was an awesome experience!
