Toyota GAZOO Racing UK Drop The Cover On Three Car Entry For 2023
Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship race winners Toyota GAZOO Racing UK hold onto Ricky Collard and Rory Butcher as well as securing the impressive George Gamble for 2023.
Rory butcher equalled his career best overall finish last year in 2022 with a 5th place as well as a set of nine top three finishes and one win at Silverstone.
The Scotsman will be looking to go that one step further this year and start a run of untouchable form that everyone knows he is very capable of to allow him to be in the title fight come the close of the season.
Ricky Collard was all but set to not return to the BTCC for 2023 after an announcement he would be travelling to Australia at the end of last year.
However the third-generation racer from Hampshire is back and ready to pick up exactly where he left off and truly stamp the Collard name back into British Motorsports top flight.
George Gamble claims the third and final seat at Toyota GAZOO Racing UK, joining from the now defunct Ciceley Motorsport.
Gamble was the rookie that everyone was talking about by just his second time out when he stood on the third step of the podium at Donington Park.
His maiden win came later in his 2022 campaign at Knockhill, cementing him in the confidence of his team and the fans.
As well as the driver line-up and car release, Toyota GAZOO Racing UK will be running a Toyota based engine as opposed to a TOCA/M-Sport supplied package.
With a star studded line-up, and the car to make even the most stubborn BMW fan turn their head, Toyota GAZOO Racing UK looks set to have a 2023 to watch out for.
