Jack Butel has signed for Team HARD Racing for the 2023 BTCC season, behind the wheel of their final CUPRA Leon.
The 26 Year Old Jersey man will be competing in the final seat in Team HARD's CUPRA lineup.
After a disappointing 2022 with Excelr8 Motorsport, with only a handful of points finishes and just one jack sears trophy podium, Butel is seeking a new challenge with Team HARD, one of the championships most exciting and innovative teams.
Butel will join 2022 teammate, Dan Lloyd as well as Dexter Patterson and fan favourite Bobby Thompson. Butel hopes that the experience in the squad will boost him to the next level for 2023.
Jack Butel had this to say on his move to the Kent outfit, “I’m back again for another crack at the BTCC and I’m delighted to be able to move across to Team HARD. for this season. It’s something that I have been looking at doing for a while but our paths have never quite aligned."
Team HARD boss Tony Gilham is excited to finally have Jack in the CUPRA,“Jack is a great lad and we’ve been in talks for a few years now to try and get him into one of our Cupra Leons. I’m delighted to say that 2023 is that year, and we can’t wait to work on making this season the most successful year for Jack in the BTCC to date."
