Silverstone hosted the annual Media Day to signal the start of the new British GT season.

Reigning GT3 champions, Barwell Motorsport and Rob Collard are back to defend the Drivers' and Teams' honours although Collard has a tall order to retain the title he won last year due to being absent from the opening round due to an unseen medical procedure. Matt Topham will partner Hugo Cook in Collards absence.

Jack Brown is back in his Optimum Motorsport McLaren to defend the GT4 title this time partnered by Marc Warren, but will be Brown's first time running as a Pro-AM entry.

More former champions also return this year, Jonny Adam, Will Burns, Jack Mitchell, Sandy
Mitchell and Seb Morris will all be looking to add their various titles across GT3 and GT4. Ferrari and Porsche also return to GT3 along with new comers Honda meaning in total nine manufactures across both GT3 and GT4.

The season starts at Donington Park April 5th / 6th.
