The Final 60 Minutes of the 6 Hours of Silverstone
With the sun still shining over the Northamptonshire circuit, the last 60 minutes proved the usual down to the wire ending that has became unanimous with the WEC championship. Heading into the final hour the No. 2 Porsche driven by Neal Jani had a 54 second lead over the second placed Audi of Marcel Fassler but the Porsche was still to pit. Jani pitted the Porsche on lap 161, and with only changing 2 tyres rather than 4 came out only 6 seconds behind the Fassler Audi.

Mid point report from Silverstone
The day started with not a cloud in the sky, much different to yesterdays snow storm which disrupted most of the mornings running. Aston Martin Racing Qualifying Report, Silverstone 6hr
In Their first qualifying session of the season, Aston Martin’s three beauties qualified P5 and P6 in GTE Pro and P6 in GTE Am. ‘Silverstone Slip-up' for Toyota
'Hugely frustrating' and 'we will urgently seek to address the issues' were phrases used in Toyota Gazoo Racing's post qualifying press release. Second row for Porsche at 6hr Silverstone
The two Porsche 919 hybrids will start the 6 hours at Silverstone from the second row of the grid.
