BOP changes for the GTE Pro field
Following a meeting attended by the ACO, FIA and representatives from the manufactures in the GTE Pro class, the Endurance committee have made various changes to the Balance of Performance in the class. The Ferrari 488 GTE has 25kgs added to its base weight Ford GT's have 5kg added to their base weight Ford GT's turbo boost pressure reduced Aston Martin and Corvette increase in air restrictor size Fuel capacity has also been increased in the Porsche, Ferrari and Corvett

UPDATED: Le Mans Qualifying Report
It rained.... a lot!! Only a handful of drivers improved their times during qualifying 2, whereas qualifying 3 was red flagged 18 minutes into the session due to the monsoon like conditions that fell upon the La Sarthe region. Whilst some teams, you won’t be surprised to know Audi were one of them, practised driver changes, and the Corvettes focused on front end changes, some teams decided a bit of down time was in order and played up to the cameras. Le Mans Free Practice Report
The session started out on a green track as there had been no running since test day. Early running saw the teams going through their driver line ups. Early running was brought to a halt when the ByKolles number 4 with Pierre Kaffer on board came to a halt on the Mulsane straight in a large plume of smoke, a mechanical failure being sighted by the driver as the problem. ByKolles spotted testing at Le Mans Airport
We have been sent some exclusive shots taken this evening (14th June) of the ByKolles team running the car on the runway of the Le Mans airport. As yet it has been unconfirmed by the team as to the purpose of the test but it does appear a little odd less than 24 hrs before the free practice session at 16:00 tomorrow. The 60 cars due to take the start of the 84th running of the third round of the FIA World Endurance Championship have now completed eight hours of practice on the 13.6km Circuit des 24 Heures track.
