Germany Calling...

In just over a week’s time the FIA World Endurance Championship will begin its fourth round at the Nürburgring in the Rhineland-Palatinate region of Germany.

Porsche will be looking for yet another hat-trick after winning here in both 2015 and 16, and looking to extend their lead in the Championship before the WEC family heads off for its summer break!

Toyota will be hoping they’ve left the gremlins behind in France and can pick up on their pre-Le Mans winning streak by beating the German outfit at their home race, albeit also a home race for Toyota who are based in Cologne!

Looking at this year’s race wins so far another podium is more than possible for the Chinese Jackie Chan DC Racing team which would give their championship lead an even healthier boost.

And who knows what will happen in LMGTE Pro, with three different teams (Ford, AF Corse and Aston Martin) taking the top steps so far in 2017!

Clearwater Racing will be hoping they can come away from the Ring still leading the AM Championship, having been the surprise package at the opening round and again securing a solid podium at Spa.
