The battle is on at Sebring! Despite Toyota being fastest in last weekend's Prologue and all the free practice sessions at Sebring, Antonio Fuoco beat the Japanese hybrids by 0.214s.The Italian in the #50 squeezed out a 1.45.067, Brandon Hartley in the #8 Toyota didn't come further than a 1.45.281. Kamui Kobayashi in the other Toyota noted the 3rd time, 0.334s behind Hartley.

Alessandro Pier Guidi put the other 499P fourth on the grid, just ahead of Alex Lynn in the #2 Cadillac. 6th and 7th position went Porsche, ahead of both Peugeot 9X8s. The 9X8 seems to struggle a bit with the bumps at Sebring, as most of its downforce is generated by the floor of the car, being designed as a rear-wingless car.

Race start is at 4PM British time.

The non-hybrid battle was decided in Glickenhaus' favor, they claimed p10 just ahead of the Vanwall.

In LMP2, Oliver Jar is put the #23 United Autosports Oreca on pole, while Sara Bovy in the Iron Lynx Porsche beats Ben Keating in the Chevrolet for pole in LMGTE Am.
