Forecast update for the Six Hours of Spa
Apologies for the lateness of this update - I was sick in bed with the flu all day yesterday. But the good news is that the forecast for the Six Hours of Spa is looking better and better. Considering the typical cool and wet conditions that the race can often have, the weather this weekend looks spectacular.
A high pressure system at the surface will be shifting northeast across northern Europe through Friday and Saturday, from off the west coast of France early Friday to the Baltic Sea by the end of the day Saturday. In the upper levels, there will also be a high pressure ridge extending across the area both days. This will keep plenty of sunshine at the track both days, and temperatures will be trending warmer, with highs in the lower 60s on Friday to mid 60s on Saturday.
