For the second race in a row, Rebellion managed to secure Pole Position. Norman Nato was fastest and starts the Lone Star Le Mans at Circuit of the Americas from the front. Mike Conway and Brandon Hartley follow in the #7 and #8 Toyota's at no less than 1.6s. The Toyota's clearly suffer from their success handicap.

In LMP2 pole went to the Oreca of Cool Racing in which Antonin Borga drove the fastest lap. He's followed by Phil Hanson for United Autosports and Pierre Ragues for Signatech.

In GT Pro the differences were incredibly small. All six regular contenders were within half second, Thiim in Aston Martin Vantage was quickest. Second was Kevin Estre in the Porsche 911 RSR, Maxime Martin in the second Aston was third. Only 0.002s behind was the Ferrari 488 of Alessandro Pier Guidi. 'Guest' Chevrolet, with the brand new Corvette C8.R starts from p7.

In GT Am the Project 1 Porsche with Egidio Perfetti behind the wheel set the fastest time, closely followed by the Astons of Ross Gunn and Salih Yoluc.

Race start is at 18.00 GMT.
