We still have to wait more than a year to see it compete in the WEC (and IMSA), but today marks the day of the first roll-out of Porsche's 2023 LMDh contender.

At Porsche's own official testtrack at Weissach, long-time Porsche factory driver Frédéric Makowiecki had the honours to show the world the LMDh' first rolling meters. The car, developed together with Penske Motorsport, did a couple of laps and according to the Frenchman, "...is working as expected."

The officially still nameless car was painted in a camouflage livery. In the upcoming months, other manufacturers that committed to the LMDh formula, BMW, Acura, Audi, Cadillac and Alpine are also expected to reveal their new cars.
