FIA WEC: AF Corse to run in LMP2 in 2019/20
The AF Corse factory Ferrari team will return to the LMP2 class in next season's World Endurance Championship.
According to a recent report in Autosport the Italian team will run a Dallara-Gibson P217 in the LMP2 class of the FIA World Endurance Championship for the 2019/20 season.
AF Corse have previously ran in LMP2 back in 2014 under the SMP banner with 2 Oreca-Nissan 03s.
The car will be driven by sportscar stalwart Andrea Belicchi, Giorgio Sernagiotto and Pharmanutra managing director Roberto Lacorte, who are also racing with Villorba Corse in the ELMS this season.
