FERRARI LOCKS OUT FRONT ROW, FUOCO PUTS #50 ON POLE

Antonio Fuoco in the #50 Ferrari 499P qualified first in the Hyperpole session. His teammate Alessandro Pier Guidi was second fastest in the #51, meaning a front row lock out for Ferrari. First of the Toyota's in on p3, the #8 driven by Brendon Hartley. Felipe Nasr put the #75 Penske Porsche on p4, followed by the #7 Toyota and the first Cadillac, the #2 in the hands of Earl Bamber. Sebastien Bourdais' #3 Cadillac was initially third, but got his fastest lap deleted and later caught fire at the Hunaudièrs straight.



The #48 Idec Sport Oreca took pole in the hands of Paul-loup Chatin, just ahead of Pietro Fittipaldi in the #28 JOTA car. Ben Keating took the GT Am Pole in the #33 Chevy with his final lap, taking it off the #25 Aston Martin in the dying seconds of the session.
