Mitch Evans claimed Jaguar's first victory of the 2025-26 season in Miami, driving brilliantly in wet conditions to guide the British team ahead of the championship chase. Starting from ninth on the grid, Evans navigated the slippery streets of the Miami International Autodrome to secure a commanding win that underlined Jaguar's potential this season.
Rain transformed the Miami ePrix into a battle of driver skill and machine control. The Gen3 Evo's all-wheel drive attack mode proved particularly effective in the wet, offering drivers the traction needed to make decisive moves. Evans used this advantage perfectly, making methodical progress through the field as others struggled with the unpredictable conditions.

By mid-race, Evans had worked his way to the front and took the lead with five laps remaining. His composure in the closing stages, whilst managing both attack mode and the treacherous conditions, allowed him to secure a comfortable victory ahead of Rowland's Nissan and Buemi's Envision machine.
The win moved Jaguar into serious championship contention after two rounds of point-scoring finishes. Evans' masterclass in wet weather driving demonstrated why Jaguar chose him as their lead driver for the new season, with the team now firmly in the battle for the title.
