6hr Nürburgring LMP2: How close was that… 0.071!
On the back of their win at Le Mans the LMP2 class was won by the #36 Signatech Alpine of Nicolas Lapierre, Stephane Richelmi and Gustavo Menezes. The #36 took over the lead going into the fourth hour when the #26 G-Drive of Alex Brundle, Rene Rast and Romain Rusinov retired with a gearbox failure. Taking second some 16.478 behind was the RGR Sport Ligier of Bruno Senna, Filipe Albuquerque and Ricardo Gonzalez. Ryan Dalziel and Jonny Kane gave the crowd a last lap battle
