If not a racing driver, then what would you be?
I'm not sure really. I've done all sorts of jobs when I was trying to make it as a professional racing driver including an overnight sandwich delivery driver!!!
Do you have any pre-race superstitions?
None at all really.... some drivers do stretching or meditation etc. I'm very old school in my approach and don't go in for that "namby pamby" stuff. I just jump in the car and rock on trying to keep the right foot down as long as possible!
Who do you admire the most?
From a sport perspective I admire the motorcycle racers... and Mick Doohan is a hero of mine. Also the road racing guys who are more extreme, as they put it on the line every time they leave the pits and don't know for sure if they will come back. So maybe it's more the commitment they have that I admire rather than a single person.
What is you favourite circuit?
Obviously Bathurst is up there but for my favorites it would have to be be a toss up between Oulton Park or Brands Hatch GP... proper big balls tracks. Along with the European Le Mans series and the World Endurance chanpionship my programme for 2017 includes the British GT Championship which I'm really happy about and can't wait for Oulton and Brands.
Favourite Food?
As a professional driver should I say Salad???? I'm a steak guy so usually wherever I am I seek out the best steak place, a good red wine goes well with it also... To aid digestion of course ;).
Which series would you most like to race in?
I'm very passionate about GT cars. They have a lot of power and a lot less grip compared to for example an LMP car. The competition is fierce and I love that. I really enjoy racing in America, the atmosphere is a bit more fun and the tracks are brilliant. I have only done spot races like Daytona, Sebring etc so a full IMSA programme would be great...
Most memorable racing moment?
I don't have a specific one. I am lucky enough to travel all over the world racing cars. So every trip there are many memorable moments some good some bad but all memorble. At the end of the day I get paid to do what I love..... Not many people get to say that.
