What would you be if not a racing driver?

 

If I wasn't a racer I'd still be involved in some sport as I'm super competitive maybe golf or football.

 

Do you have any pre-race superstitions?

 

No real superstitions but I do like to have a sleep.

What is your favourite racing circuit?

Favourite circuits in U.K. are Cadwell and Donington.

Who do you admire the most?

I admire my Dad the most for who he is and what he has achieved .

Favourite food?

 

Favourite food is fajitas.

 

Which other series would you like to race in?

 

MotoGp on a competitive bike! 

What road car / bike do you drive?

My bike is ZX10r my car is actually a vivarro van!

 

Most memorable racing moment?

 

My first world Superbike win will always standout and winning Suzuka 8 hour. 

 

Do you have any tattoo's, if so what and where (be honest!)?

 

I have a full arm sleeve with member of my family and another on my lower back. 

Leon Haslam is a motorcycle road racer based in Derbyshire, England. For 2017, he is contracted to race in the British Superbike Championship aboard a Kawasaki ZX-10R.

He began racing at an early age and by the time he was in his late teens, he had raced in most of the significant British and international championships. After the 2004 season on a Ducati in World Superbikes with team mate Nori Haga, between 2005 and 2008 he was a regular front-runner in the British Superbike Championship. For 2009 he returned to the Superbike World Championship, riding for Suzuki, BMW, Honda and Aprilia for 2015. Haslam is nicknamed 'Pocket Rocket' and is the son of former road-racer 'Rocket Ron' Haslam.
