Dixon joined the Lee Hardy Racing team for a two day test at Snetterton prior to round 4 at Knockhill, the test came about as Dixon had parted with his previous team due to various reasons. Dixon had never ridden a Superbike machine before the test and spent most of his earlier years within the Supersport Championship. Dixon’s progression from 600cc machinery on to the 1000cc Superbike came with ease, his pace was very strong and proved he had the skills required to race in and around some of the world’s Elite that make up the grid within the British Superbike Championship. The team have announced that they have signed Dixon for the remainder of this season and 2017.
