FIA WEC: FP3 6 Hours of Spa 2022

The final Free Practice session of the TotalEnergies 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps saw the Toyota Gazoo Racing No. 7 driven by Kamui Kobayashi set the fastest time from all 3 sessions, a 2:03.225.

Making it a 1-2, Brendon Hartley posted a 2:03.427 in the No. 8 Toyota, with No. 9 LMP2 Oreca of the Prema Orlen Team piloted by Louis Deletraz taking 3rd quickest overall and topping the LMP2 Field.

After less than ten minutes into the session, Pipo Derani caused a full course yellow for Glickenhaus Racing. In the No. 708 Glickenhaus 007 Pipo, Derani struck gravel at Stavelot and had to be lifted out. The car returned to the track later in the session.

Porsche continued to be on top in GTE-Pro with Kevin Estre setting a lap time of 2:13.102 in the No. 92 Porsche 911 RSR-19, with Gianmaria Bruni a second ahead of the 2 AF Corse Ferrari 488 Evo's.

While in GTE-Am Team Project 1 lead the field with a late fast lap from Mikkel Pedersen in the No. 46 with a 2:15.351.

With the qualifying session still to come today, all eyes will be on the Toyotas i'm sure to see if they can keep improving on their pace and clinch pole. The first of the 2 sessions starts at 18:20 local time.
